Adeel Ahmad

Adeel leads beBright’s acquisition strategy and is responsible for identifying and acquiring leading pediatric dentistry and orthodontic practices. Adeel is a seasoned transaction professional with over 15 years of mergers and acquisitions experience at leading investment banks. Adeel has worked with a wide range of clients including founder and family-held businesses, private and public companies, private equity funds and family offices.
Most recently, he was a senior member of the middle market group at Lazard, a leading global advisory firm. He joined Lazard from Rendersi, a boutique, financial advisory and investment firm that he co-founded to serve founders, entrepreneurs, and private equity clients.
Prior to co-founding Rendersi, Adeel was a Vice President at Imperial Capital. Prior to joining Imperial Capital, he worked at The Mercanti Group, a boutique investment bank that specialized in M&A and capital markets advisory. He started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Admitting not knowing something. I appreciate when people say, “I don’t know, but let me find out and follow-up in a timely manner.”
What superpower do you wish you had?
I love traveling and have greatly enjoyed learning about various cultures and history during my travels to 52 countries across six continents. I wish I had the superpower to be in a new country in a blink of an eye.
What are some of your hobbies?
- Attending live sporting events (FIFA world cup, Formula One grand prix, Cricket matches)
- Camping and overlanding in remote places (most recent experience was in Botswana and Zimbabwe)
- Building complex Lego sets and large jigsaw puzzles
