Laura joins beBright with a robust background in leading, implementing and executing strategic and scalable HR strategies in a variety of high-growth organizations. Laura spent the early part of her career at Target in HR management and store operations. Additionally, she led the Human Resources function for Kognitiv, a high-growth technology company that operates in over 15 countries. Most recently, at Restaurant Technologies she focused on leading scalable people strategies and organizational effectiveness. Laura has a tremendous breadth of experience in developing high performing teams, M&A, OCM & Org Effectiveness, scalable business transformation, HR strategy and strategic HR business partnering.
Getting to Know You
If you had a free day to do anything, how would you spend it?
My perfect day would start off with a nice long morning run listening to a good podcast or audiobook! I love spending time with my fiancé doing anything or nothing at all. You would probably find us out on the lake boating or fishing and then likely ending the day with a fun new restaurant or cooking something new at home!

Authenticity, accountability, and a good sense of humor!
What is one of your actual superpowers?
Planning! I’m such a planner and absolutely love it.
What are some of your hobbies?
I’m a big football fan, so really enjoy watching the Green Bay Packers on Sunday! Go Pack Go! I’m also a big runner and usually run 2 or 3 half marathons a year and completed my very first full marathon in June of 2023! I also love lazy days and getting lost in a good book. I watch Food Network more than I should and really enjoy cooking and trying new things-someday I’ll Beat Bobby Flay!
